Peacock Swirl in a Log Mold - Stage 1

Has been a loooonnngggg time since my last post. I haven't been feeling great but I think that I am on the the right road now.

Even though, I have been dreaming up new techniques like - How to do the Peacock Swirl in a Log Mold?

So I made this funny looking comb (you can see it on my Youtube video) and it worked!

I have completed the first stage which is the basis for the peacock pattern and will be moving on to stage 2 very soon.

Here's the finished soap with some stearic streaking/blobbing (soaped super cold with loads of hard oils).

Thanks for stopping by.

Shards of Asgard

I present to you a chunk of Asgard to be marvelled at. The Bifrost bridge constructed from magic and ice has been shattered into a million pieces. Fortunately for us mere human beings shards of this marvellous construction have found their way to earth where we may treasure them and remember the beauty of Asgard.

I am so loving Norse legends at the moment and had to make something on this theme. Using black magic, purple berries, solar yellow, snow white, iridescent green and red violet micas. All from MicaMoma.

The xword will soon be here so I've started on my xmas box collection. I hope that you like them.

Enchanted Halloween Soap Tutorial

This is the tutorial for my latest Halloween soap. You can find it on www.micamoma.com and You tube. I've used a reverse bouquet technique and some great autumnal mica colours - black magic mica, apple green mica, snow white mica and a new orange.

Enchanted

With Autumn here and Halloween around the corner I just had to make something inspired by that special time of year. Made with Apple Green, Black Magic, Orange Carrot and Snow White micas.

The overall effect is quite cool and the pattern looks like clam shells. I will soon be posting a tutorial and the cut bars so watch this space...:)

Glamoured Tutorial (aka Fang Banger)

Okay guys so I have just posted the swirling tutorial for Prepare to be Glamoured on You tube. I have to confess that this soap is affectionately called Fang Banger in my house. It is so naughty but it just trips off the tongue too easily.

Mica Tests

We know that many of you were anxious to see how our micas look in CP soap. Well we've done some tests and have posted the results on MicaMoma.

From the photos you can see how well they turned out.

We will be updating these on a regular basis so keep checking.
