Even though, I have been dreaming up new techniques like - How to do the Peacock Swirl in a Log Mold?
So I made this funny looking comb (you can see it on my Youtube video) and it worked!
I have completed the first stage which is the basis for the peacock pattern and will be moving on to stage 2 very soon.
Here's the finished soap with some stearic streaking/blobbing (soaped super cold with loads of hard oils).
Here's the link to the tutorial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKmlAUG3i_4&feature=youtu.be
Thanks for stopping by.
Such gorgeous colors! They look like a real peacock. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Anne-Marie :) I can't wait to make the proper peacock swirl in a log mold!
DeleteIt looks like you are a peacock swirl master! Love the colors. I also love the one from your post last year - the one with orange, green, brown and white.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Will be posting part 2 soon. Just have to tweak my new comb:)
